These interactive maps show estimated statistics (number, percent of general population, percent of Latin American-born population) for Trypanosoma cruzi infections among adult residents of the United States at the Public Use Microdata Area (PUMA) level for 2014-2018.
PUMAs are defined by the Census Bureau and partition states into non-overlapping areas containing at least 100,000 residents. They are the smallest geographical area for which complete microdata from the American Community Survey (ACS) are available.
ACS data (5-year sample for 2014-2018) was obtained through IPUMS USA, University of Minnesota, www.ipums.org.
